Launching The Ultimate Collection at Salon Privé London

Last week our team launched The Ultimate Collection at Salon Privé London. This collection has been carefully curated to represent the significance of Bentley’s pre-war history. Years in the making, The Ultimate Collection presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire five of the most historically significant vintage Bentleys in one sale.

Over the three days, through rain and shine, the team met visiotrs, clients, and press alike on the lawns of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. 

The collection took part in the Concours de Vente parade each day with some rather esteemed passengers accompanying our drivers. When asked if any of them had been in a Vintage Bentley before, one Chelsea Pensioner, Bill, recalled attending the Ards TT in 1935 as a child. With the race over one of the Bentleys pulled over next to a young Bill and offered him a ride round some of the track. Whilst his ride at the weekend was notably slower than 89 years ago, Bill thoroughly enjoyed waving to the crowds from the SuperSports.

Alongside launching the collection, we were delighted for our 1930 Speed Six Saloon to be awarded Best in Class 3 and Le Prix D'Hounner. This was an absolute honour and our thanks go to the judges, Amanda Stretton, James Elliott, and Edd China.
