Brooklands to Le Mans: Le Mans Procession

Saturday saw day two of scrutineering for the 92nd edition of the 24 Hours Le Mans Race followed by the race car parade through Le Mans city centre.

Crowds lined the 2km route to see the nine Hypercars, one LMP2 and seven LMGT3s take to the streets in a spectacle that has become a main feature of the race build up. As the cars took to the streets it was not the Hypercars or Supercars that got the biggest cheer though, but the 3 Litre Bentley Sport! Driven by Vintage Bentley founder William Medcalf, and carrying the chequered flag, the 1924 Le Mans winning car was greeted by waves, cheers, and smiles from the waiting crowds.

With the weekend drawing to a close the Bentley has taken up residence in the Musee 24h Le Mans where she will remain on display until her centenary celebrations continue on race weekend.
