Andrew Griffith MP Visits The Works

We were delighted to welcome Andrew Griffith MP to The Works this morning. As the local MP for Arundel and South Downs, Andrew is currently touring his constituency to understand the businesses and people that he represents and the work that they do.

Guided by William, Andrew was shown the toolroom, workshop, office, parts department and showroom, meeting members of the team throughout his tour. From discussing the balance of work and college with our apprentices, to learning to build a differential with the toolroom, to discussing marketing strategy and social media in the office, Andrew witnessed the vast array of work that we do at Vintage Bentley and the passion and hard work of our team that shines throughout.

The Works tour followed by an informative update on our sustainability journey and our achievements on operating as a carbon positive business this year. As the leading specialist in our field, we are confident with the right recognition and exposure, we can inspire and encourage others to commence their sustainability journey so we can collaboratively enjoy the heritage and passion of historic motor cars and racing for years to come in a nature positive way.

To bring the visit to a close William and Andrew climbed into a sustainably fuelled 1928 4 ½ Litre Bentley and took to the local lanes, bringing the thrill of the W.Os to life.

We would like to thank Andrew for visiting The Works, engaging with our team and future support as we continue to use the past to write the future as the global home of the vintage Bentley.
