The Barnato Hassan - Brooklands Lap Record Holder Takes on Goodwood

Last year our team at Vintage Bentley prepraed the majestic Barnato Hassan to race in the 2024 Parnell Cup at the 81st Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport. Whilst incredible to see this Bentley roar around the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit in her centenary year, she was powered by 100% synthetic fuel at the time.  A great moment to highlight how we use the past to write the future in our endeavours to promote pre-war British racing for years to come in a sustainable way.

We’re privileged to have some of the most iconic racing cars at Goodwood, but occasionally, something really ‘special’ makes an appearance. This Bentley Barnato-Hassan Special is a one-of-a-kind record holder. The 8-litre powerhouse was built to break the Brooklands lap record, and it still holds it today at an incredible speed of 142.6mph. - Goodwood
