Goodwood 82nd Members' Meeting
A great weekend of racing at the Goodwood 82nd Members' Meeting, full of excitement and pace amongst some incredible vintage motor racing. A pleasure and a privilege to be a part of such a celebrated event.
The 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport celebrates another extraordinary weekend with all racing taking place using sustainable fuel.
Our team were proud to prepare six vintage Bentleys which all successfully finished in the Earl Howe Trophy, a race dedicated to British pre-war Supercars, named after Le Mans winner and co-founder of the British Racing Drivers Club, the 5th Earl Howe, Francis Curzon. The Earl Howe Trophy has traditionally been a race for sportscars from the 1920s and ‘30s, but this year the entry list has been limited to British-built models only.
The overall 2024 Peking To Paris winning car took the Earl Howe Trohpy, and performed as well as expected. Further to the racing, we had a special display in the Governor's car park, where the overall winning car from the 2025 Flying Scotsman rally was sitting (pictured below is driver, William Medcalf, with the winning vintage Bentley). It was an honour to be able to diplay this for all spectators to see and enjoy.
We congratulate all drivers on crossing the finish line and thank them for providing so much enjoyment to spectators and enthusiasts. A special mention to our Founder William Medcalf and Nick Sleep who both secure top 10 finishes, racing in SuperSports #9 and SuperSports #17 respectively.
Our passionate vintage Bentley team were at hand throughout the weekend, ready to provide race support to our clients in both the paddocks and pit lane. A true testament to the dedication and craftmanship of our workshop team.
Sustainable racing
Following the 2024 Goodwood Revival - which became the world’s first historic motorsport event to run all its races on sustainable fuel - the 82nd Members’ Meeting continued the momentum with thirteen thrilling races powered by sustainable fuel; another significant step forward in securing the future of motorsport.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us and for those who have visited The Works on the road to Goodwood. It was great to catch up with many friends and meet new ones. Thank you to His Grace, The Duke of Richmond and the entire Goodwood team for another exceptional event.
