On this day - W.O Bentley was born

On this day in 1888, Walter Owen Bentley was born. 

An engineer, racer and the founder of Bentley Motors, W.O.'s approach combined performance with durability. The cars bearing his name went on to secure five victories at Le Mans between 1924 and 1930, establishing a reputation that remins inseparable from the marque today. 

At Vintage Bentley, his influence can still be found in the work we carry out every day - perserving, maijntaining and preparing W.O. Bentleys to be driven as intended, on the road and on the track. 

Today, 138 years after his birth, we celebrate the man behind the name and the engineering he left behind.
